Paris and Beyond Tours runs private tours with its own guides in Paris, on day trips from Paris (Versailles, Giverny, Vaux-le-Vicomte) and across Normandy, where D-Day tours start from Bayeux, Caen, Paris or the cruise ports of Le Havre and Cherbourg. Every tour is private. The About page says co-founders Joséphine and Ferit "decided to found their own Parisian travel agency after working as Private tour Guides for others for 7 years," and describes the company as "a premium tour operator launched in 2020." The site is aimed squarely at families and couples, and prices are shown in euros as "From" figures.

The site names Joséphine as Managing Director and Co-Founder, Ferit as Founder and Lead Family Tour Guide, and guides including Sylvanie, described as "an art historian and certified tour guide with a solid academic background in European art and more than ten years of experience guiding visitors," and Sonja, who "trained in architecture" and "has been guiding in Paris for over a decade." The About page refers to "our National Licensed Guides."

Paris tours and prices

The family tours are the house specialty. The Private Louvre Scavenger Hunt (5-12) is "From €549," a 2-hour hunt "created for kids aged 6–12, with an engaging expert guide, special access tickets and tailored challenges." The Orsay Museum Treasure Hunt is "From €499" for 2 hours, and a Family Hands-On Stone-Carving Workshop is "From €289" for 2.5 hours. The best sellers on the homepage include the Private Notre-Dame guided interior and Latin Quarter tour (from €459), the exterior version (from €389), the Private Sainte-Chapelle tour and Notre Dame guided exteriors (from €649 for 2.5 hours) and Private Paris Highlights by Metro, a 4-hour tour with hotel pickup "using the subway and short walks to see Notre-Dame, the Louvre, the Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower," from €519.

Longer days include Paris Your Way: An 8-Hour Private Guide Experience (from €949), the Full-Day Private Van Tour of 8 hours (from €1,749) and Paris Highlights in 4 Hours by private van (from €919). Out of the city there is Private Versailles Palace and Royal Gardens with Transfers (from €1,049), Private Versailles Palace and Golf Cart Gardens from Paris (from €1,099 for 4.5 hours), a Private Vaux-Le-Vicomte Christmas Tour (from €1,299 for 6 hours) and the Giverny half-day trip to Monet's house and gardens, which the site lists with the Normandy tours. The city tours page explains the van price plainly: "A van adds roughly €400 to a half-day and €800 to a full day," because it is "a vehicle and a professional driver held for your group during the tour."

Normandy and D-Day

From Bayeux, the Private Half-day trip covers Omaha Beach, the Normandy American Cemetery and Pointe du Hoc in 5 hours, from €560, with pickup "directly from your Bayeux hotel," and the Full-Day Private American DDAY Beaches tour covers "all American sectors," including Utah Beach, in 10 hours from €780. The Best of Bayeux Private Walking tour takes in the Bayeux Tapestry and the cathedral in 2 hours, from €400. From Caen, the menu lists a Private Normandy D-Day Beaches E-Bike Tour (10 hours, from €1,020), a full-day trip to the British and Commonwealth beaches, Gold, Juno, Sword, Arromanches and Pegasus Bridge (from €900), and a Gastronomic Day in the Pays d'Auge (from €980). From Paris, the D-Day day trip by train is listed at 12 hours from €1,040 and the van version at 13 hours from €1,899, with the Giverny half-day trip (6 hours) from €1,239. Shore excursions to the American beaches leave from Le Havre (from €1,080) and Cherbourg (from €1,060), each listed at 10 hours.

The Normandy page is candid about the Paris day trip, saying it "means 7+ hours of highway driving (3.5 hours each way)" and recommending at least one night in Normandy. It also advises against combining the D-Day beaches and Mont-Saint-Michel in one day. Guides can research a relative's grave or unit in advance from details shared at booking.

How the day works

On Normandy tours the site says the price includes the driver-guide, a "Private vehicle (Mercedes van or equivalent) with fuel, parking, and tolls," train tickets on Paris train tours and "All museum and monument entrance fees," with lunch as the only extra, budgeted at €8 to €35 per person. On access, it says a "Wheelchair provided in every tour van" is available without advance notice for one guest per group, and lists walking conditions site by site: paved paths at the American Cemetery, flat sand at Omaha Beach and uneven, cratered ground at Pointe du Hoc. It recommends D-Day tours for "children ages 8-10 and older." Tours "proceed in typical Norman weather," and in Paris the city tours page says "Nothing gets cancelled for weather," with the day reordered indoors when it rains.

On language, the Normandy page says "The first requirement for our Normandy D-Day guides is to speak fluent English," and the family page says its museum guides are "completely fluent in English," many of them native speakers. For Paris family tours, the site says children under 6 go free on tours without a transfer, and describes the family museum tours as suited to ages 5 to 17. Standard family museum tours run 2 to 3 hours, and the site offers shorter 90-minute versions for families with toddlers or longer ones of 3.5 to 4 hours with breaks for older children.

Booking and terms

Tours are booked online, and the site offers a free planning call with Joséphine and Ferit by email. The footer links to a Cancellation Policy page, but the tour pages do not repeat its terms, deposit rules or payment methods.

What the site leaves open, and who it suits

The tour cards show "From" prices without saying how they change with group size, and the site gives no maximum party size for a private tour or van; the family page only notes that a larger party may need a bigger vehicle at a higher cost.
