Wonders Travel and Tourism, which trades on the domain jordan-travel.com, is a travel agency in Aqaba, Jordan, that organizes its own day trips, multi-day tours, shore excursions for cruise passengers, private transfers and car rentals across the country. The about page says it "was founded and is actively operated by Muhammad Yaseen", described as "an Aqaba-based licensed Jordan tour guide" with "hands-on, professional experience in the tourism and guiding industry since 2009". Tours run to Petra, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea, Jerash, Amman and the north, and around Aqaba on the Red Sea, with some departures from Amman and from Eilat across the Israeli border. Prices are in US dollars.

In his own words on the about page, Yaseen writes that Aqaba is his hometown and that being based there "allows me to organize both day tours and multi-day journeys efficiently for travelers arriving in the south of Jordan, including cruise guests and independent visitors". The page names the wider team as Varvara, Marina and Olesya in management and sales, alongside "expert local guides and drivers", and says the agency works "comfortably with both English-speaking and Russian-speaking travelers". A traveler review quoted on the site says the agency's office is inside the Tala Bay resort, with another in the center of Aqaba.

Day trips and excursions

The tours page lists each trip with its length and a "from" price:

The Red Sea boat trip, Sea Excursion full day Boat Snorkeling & Diving in Aqaba, is shown from $60. Its page leaves from the company's office in Aqaba City at 09:00 a.m. and gives a timetable: boarding, a guided snorkeling session at 09:30 with an orientation on technique and safety, refreshments at 11:00, a coastal cruise with commentary at 12:00, lunch of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes at 13:00, free time at 14:00 with optional extra diving "subject to availability and additional charges", and a return to port at 16:00. The rate includes snorkeling gear, lunch on the boat, instructors and lifeguards, and towels; gratuities and diving are extra. The page states that rates are "in U.S. dollars, Per person", valid until 31 December 2026, that the tour language is English, that reservations are accepted "up to at least 12 hours before departure", and that it is a group tour that can be taken privately by families or groups. The homepage card lists the same trip as "4+ Hours", shorter than the timetable on its own page.

Multi-day tours and other services

Longer trips on the site include Eilat to Jordan Valleys Tour: Ghuweir, Al Hasa & Numeira Hiking Adventures, 3 days from $850; Jordan's Hidden Gems: Northern Explorer, 4 days from $299; and Petra & Wadi Rum tour from Eilat in 2 Days, from $320. The search filters include categories for biblical tours, Jordan Trail walks, photography, family tours and a 14-day trail program, and tour ages of 10+, 12+ and 15+. The services page describes guided tours for "a group of 1 to 6 guests, escorted by professional guide", plus private transfers, car rental, hotel and apartment bookings, incentive travel for companies, and even a medical tourism service connecting patients with doctors in Jordan. For divers, it says the Aqaba Marine Park offers "a whopping 23" sites and that its shallow corals suit snorkeling.

The about page promises cruise passengers "perfectly timed, impeccably organized private tours to Petra and Wadi Rum". Several reviews quoted on the homepage come from cruise guests, describing port pick-up, a Petra visit with entrance fees and a buffet lunch included, and a minibus or a Coaster carrying 12 people with an English-speaking guide. The homepage also lists a dedicated Aqaba-Petra shore excursion for cruise ships, 11 hours, from $145.

The tours page FAQ adds some house rules and planning advice. It recommends hiring a local guide at least in Jerash and Petra, and says that even a driver who speaks fluent English will not double as the guide: "This is just the rule of Wonders Travel and Tourism." It suggests 7-8 days as the right length for a trip to Jordan and at least two days for Petra, and it quotes a one-day Petra ticket at 50 JD, a figure it dates to 2022.

Booking, prices and the guarantee

Tours can be booked through an online form, as a guest or with an account that tracks payment status and confirmation, or by email and phone at +962 7 9635 8199. The site says payment is encrypted with SSL. The price guarantee appears in 2 versions: the homepage offers a "price match within 48 hours of order confirmation", while the services page says that if a traveler finds a lower published price for the same itinerary from an official source within 24 hours of booking, the company refunds 100% of the difference and adds a $50 Wonders Vacation Package Coupon. The homepage also advertises summer deals of "up to 20% discount". One review mentions paying in full in US dollars on arrival.

What the site leaves open, and who it suits

The tour pages do not set out cancellation or refund terms; the about page lists a Cancellation Policy among its promises without spelling out the terms, and bookings are "subject to terms and conditions of Wonders Travel and Tourism". Apart from the sea excursion, the tours page does not say whether a price is per person, or what it includes, so entrance fees, lunch and group size are worth confirming for each trip. The two versions of the price guarantee differ, and only the services page gives the refund terms.

Wonders Travel and Tourism suits cruise passengers docking in Aqaba who want a Petra or Wadi Rum day timed to the ship, and independent travelers in the south of Jordan who want a local agency to plan day trips or a longer route, with English or Russian spoken. Visitors crossing from Eilat also have dedicated day and 2-day options.
