Barrier Reef Australia is an online travel agency based in Cairns that sells Great Barrier Reef tours, cruises, flights and attractions run by operators along the Queensland coast. It does not present itself as a boat operator: the About page calls the site "your one-stop Great Barrier Reef tours holiday shop", with "hundreds of bookable tours and attractions", and the homepage speaks of "Over 900 tours to explore the Great Barrier Reef". The site is owned by Salty Wings Australia Holiday Specialists Pty Ltd (ABN 52 135 883 180), which it says has been based in Cairns since 2005, and it describes itself as part of the Australia Holiday Specialists group. The website itself, according to the About page, launched in 2001.
