The Portuguese homepage sums up the idea as seeing Lisbon from a single perspective and from every angle, exploring at the pace of the tides, without rush, crowds or traffic.

The FAQ says Lisboat uses 3 boarding docks depending on the trip: Estação Fluvial Sul e Sueste at Terreiro do Paço, Cais da Ribeira das Naus at Cais do Sodré, and Cais da Princesa in Belém. Tickets are sold online or at official stands at those docks, plus mobile sales points at Padrão dos Descobrimentos and Doca do Bom Sucesso.

The homepage lists its best-selling tickets with online prices. Fado on the Tagus (Fado no Rio Tejo) is a 1h trip with live Fado and a free drink, listed at 37€ and 33.3€ online. The Sunset Boat Tour runs 1h30 with a DJ on board and a free drink, at 35€ or 24.5€ online, a 30% discount. The Hop-on Hop-off 48h pass, marked 2h on the grid, offers unlimited boarding and getting off for 48 hours, at 28€ or 25.2€ online. The terms also mention a One Way hop-on hop-off ticket alongside the 48h pass.

The Sunset Boat Tour page lists what passengers see from the river: Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, the Museum of Electricity, MAAT (Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology), Terreiro do Paço, Alcântara Dock and the 25 of April's Bridge. For safety, the page says the service is "Certified by the competent authorities, namely DGRM," with a "Safety plan on board, safety ferries and life jackets," and a "Crew trained to support passengers during boarding and disembarking procedures." These are the company's statements.

Reviews on the homepage, chosen by the company and shown in Portuguese, come from Portugal, France, Germany, the USA, Ireland, the Netherlands, the UK, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Hungary and Spain. One French family says the hop-on hop-off pass worked well for reaching the city center and Belém with a 3-year-old child; others praise the DJ, the crew and the view of Lisbon from the river, and one says the sunset trip suits solo travelers because it is easy to talk to other passengers. A Canadian reviewer credits the guide with deep knowledge of the region's history, and another mentions snacks and drinks on board.

Booking and terms

Tickets are bought online or at the stands, and "Confirmation will be received upon booking." The terms say tickets are "personal and non-transferable," must be kept for the whole service, and may not be reissued if lost. Cancellation is clear: "cancellations made up to 24 hours before the service have no cost and tickets will be fully refunded." The route or boarding dock may change "for reasons beyond LISBOAT's control (weather conditions, docking infrastructure management) without prior notice." Travelers after a long cruise beyond the city will not find one on this menu.
