What Tootbus is and where it runs

Tootbus sells hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus tours, night tours and bus-plus-attraction combos in several European cities. The homepage destination list shows Paris (from 28.00 €, 30 experiences), Brussels (from 23.00 €, 20 experiences), Tuscany (from 34.30 €), Rome (from 36.00 €), London (from £ 24.00, 29 experiences), Barcelona (from 29.70 €) and Madrid. In Paris and Brussels the product pages say "We operate the greenest fleet of hop-on hop-off buses," so there Tootbus runs its own buses. For the other cities the site does not say who operates the vehicles, and a notice on the site shows that at least one former destination, Bath, was operated by First Group Plc; that service closed permanently on 28 March 2026. Prices are in euros, and in pounds for London.

The homepage headline promises "Sightseeing bus and walking tours" with "Wifi on-board," "Free walking tours included" and a "Family friendly" service, and lists features such as a multilingual audioguide, an eco-friendly ride, "Fully accessible," a "Closable deck" and an AI city guide called Tootie.

Paris

The Paris Discovery ticket gives "access to the blue route," hop-on hop-off for 1, 2 or 3 days, plus 5 self-guided walking tours in the Tootbus app. The page lists it from 49.00€, reduced to 36.75€, for adults 13+, and 27.00€ (20.25€) for children aged 4-12, with a family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children at 93.75 € instead of 125.00 €. The route passes the Opera, the Louvre, Notre-Dame, the Orsay Museum, the Champs-Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides. The blue route runs from a "First departure : 09:30 AM" to a "Last departure : 06:30 PM," with "Buses every 8-15 minutes, every day," and the last full tour leaves from stop no. 1 Opéra/Grands Magasins. The page says the Paris fleet is "100% clean-energy buses (electric or gas)." The page suggests hopping off to walk Montmartre, the Latin Quarter, the Marais or the Ile Saint-Louis, and its own tip is to choose a 2- or 3-day ticket for more time at each stop. A service notice warns of disruption on 25 and 26 September because of the Pope's visit.

Paris by Night is a "2-hour non-stop open-top bus tour" past the illuminated monuments, from 35.00€ (28.00€) for adults and 25.00€ (20.00€) for children. It leaves at 6:00 PM from November to 15 March and at 9:00 PM from 16 March to October, but the page says it "is taking a seasonal break from 2 November to 21 March and will return on 22 March." There is "A single courtesy stop" at the Moulin Rouge, which is a final drop-off. Tickets arrive by e-mail as "a single use ticket valid on the date and time booked."

Combos on the Paris pages include Must See Paris with a Seine cruise (from 63.00€, 47.25€), Discovery plus Paris by Night (from 72.00€, 54.00€), Discovery plus Versailles with palace access (from 115.00€, 97.75€), and a 90 minutes Paris Kids Tour live-guided in French (from 35.00€).

Brussels and London

Brussels Discovery covers 2 routes. The red route takes in the Grand Place, the cathedral, Manneken Pis, the Palace of Justice, the European Quarter and Cinquantenaire Park, running 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM with "Buses every 30-40 mins." The page suggests getting off at Place Royale for the view from Mont des Arts and the Royal Palace, and notes that the route passes near the Marolles district with its flea market. The blue Atomium shuttle heads to the Atomium, Brussels Expo, Laeken Park and Mini-Europe, with "Buses every 2 hours" and a last departure at 4:00 PM. Departures run daily except 21 July, from stop 1 at 33 rue du Cardinal Mercier. Prices start at 33.00€ (24.75€) for adults and 23.00€ (17.25€) for children, with 4 walking tours included, and the Brussels fleet is described as "100% electric buses." Other Brussels products include a Smart Tour with a Ferris wheel ride and the AI guide, a 1-hour Last Tour at 6PM from 23.00€, and a Christmas evening tour with a live guide in English and French from 19.00€.

In London, the homepage lists Must See London, a "Hop-on hop-off bus tour + cruise" with 4 bus routes and a river cruise, from £49.00, reduced to £33.99. The popular-tours list also shows a Barcelona City Tour hop-on hop-off ticket and a Tuscany product described as "2,3 or 5 days excursions to Tuscany," and the Brussels page describes its buses as "4-metre-high."

On board

The Paris audio guide runs in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Brazilian, Arabic, Russian, Chinese and Japanese; Brussels adds Dutch for 11 languages. Kids' channels are offered in English and French, plus Dutch in Brussels. Free earphones are handed out, though the site asks riders to bring their own. The Tootbus app shows buses and stops in real time, holds your pass and carries the audio guide.

Booking and terms

Tickets are booked online or in the app. On the day tickets, the Paris and Brussels pages say "You can use your tickets on any day before the tour date. You can amend or cancel your ticket for free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour date," and that from the first validation on board the ticket is valid for 24, 48 or 72 hours. The homepage promises a "Best online deals guarantee," and each city has its own Cancellation & Refund Policy page, a timetable page and a service and traffic update page for disruptions.

What the site does not settle

The Brussels route notes say the ticket is valid "for 24 or 48 hours," while the same page sells 1, 2 or 3 days, so check which option you are buying. Age bands also differ, with the homepage search using 12+ for adults and product pages 13+. The site does not describe how wheelchair users board beyond the "Fully accessible" claim, and they do not say who operates the buses outside Paris and Brussels.

Tootbus suits visitors to Paris or Brussels who want a frequent, audio-guided loop with walking tours thrown in, families who can use the family tickets and kids' channels, and anyone who wants the Paris night tour or a Versailles combo in one booking.
