What Falcon HeliTours is and where it flies

Falcon HeliTours is a helicopter sightseeing company in the United Arab Emirates that flies its own tours from two helipads. In Dubai, "All tours depart from Atlantis, The Palm Jumeirah Island", and the About page places the helipad "within the extensive grounds of the renowned five-star beach resort". In Abu Dhabi, flights leave from Mina Zayed, which the FAQ calls "Zayed Port - Harbour". The menu also lists a City Transfer between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, special-occasion flights, and the Cloud7 Cafe. Its email address is on the falconaviation.ae domain.

The About page describes the company as "UAE's premier Helicopter tour operator" and says it was "Founded in 2010", though the same page's header says it has provided tours "since 2018", so the start date is unclear. It claims "70,000+ Passengers Annually", "12+ Years of Excellence" and a "100% Safety Record", and says its helipads "are ranked among the world's five best helicopter departure points", without naming who ranked them. These are the company's own figures. The homepage shows a Trustindex badge reading "EXCELLENT, Based on 701 reviews" on Google.

Dubai tours from Atlantis, The Palm

Most Dubai tours are priced per seat, as an exclusive flight for 6 seats, or as an exclusive flight for 7. All prices are in dirhams and "include 5% VAT". The homepage banner offers "an exclusive 10% discount" as a "Limited Time Offer".

The Pearl Heli Tour, marked "Most Affordable", is a 12-minute flight toward the Burj Khalifa over the Burj Al Arab and the coastline, at AED 715 per seat, AED 3,145 for 6 seats or AED 3,670 for 7. The Fun Ride, the "Best Seller", runs 15 minutes past the Burj Khalifa, Aquaventure Water Park, the Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach and The World Islands, at AED 921, 4,041 or 4,715. The Iconic Tour, "Most Popular", is 17 minutes over Atlantis, the Burj Al Arab, Downtown Dubai, the Burj Khalifa and the Lagoon Project, at AED 979, 4,525 or 5,280.

The City Circuit takes 25 minutes out over The World Islands, the Burj Khalifa, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai Creek, Port Rashid, Dubai Internet City, Jebel Ali Race Course, Jumeirah Lake Towers and Dubai Marina, at AED 1,450, 6,353 or 7,410. The two longest flights show a single price each. The 45-minute Imperial Tour, described as "A premium private sightseeing experience", adds Jebel Ali Port, Palm Jebel Ali, Mall of the Emirates, the Dubai Canal and the Dubai Frame for AED 11,463, and the 60-minute Gulf Desert Heli-Tour, billed as the "Ultimate Experience", covers the city, the coast, the Palm Islands, The World Islands and the desert for AED 15,593.

Abu Dhabi tours and special moments

From Mina Zayed, the Scenic Tour flies over the Corniche, Marina Mall, Emirates Palace, the Presidential Palace, Heritage Village, Hudayriyat Island and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, at AED 700 per seat, AED 3,500 for 6 seats or AED 4,085 for 7. The 30-minute Abu Dhabi Tour, marked "Popular Choice", adds Capital Gate, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Nurai Island and Saadiyat Island, at AED 1,000, 5,000 or 5,835.

The Special Moments page sells private flights from Atlantis for birthdays, proposals and corporate events, at 5,222 AED for 15 minutes or 7,302 AED for 25 minutes. The birthday package includes a cake, balloons and flowers, the VIP helipad lounge and a basic photo package. The proposal package includes a 10-meter "Will you marry me?" banner, a bouquet of flowers, helipad team assistance, and photos with a basic non-edited video. The 25-minute version crosses the Gulf over The World Islands toward the Burj Khalifa and what the page calls "the historic creek where Dubai was born". Guests are asked to select an exclusive flight and then contact the team to personalize it.

How a flight works

The FAQ sets out firm rules. On shared flights "The weight limit is 110kgs per passenger per seat", and heavier passengers, or those close to it, must buy an extra seat; the company "cannot offer a tour if a seat belt extender is required". On exclusive flights, "The maximum total weight limit is 450kgs per flight". All passengers must bring "ORIGINAL PHYSICAL VALID PASSPORTS or a valid Emirates ID for Residents". The Atlantis page says each helicopter can take "up to 7 passengers", while the About page describes "Luxurious seating for 6 passengers", "180-degree panoramic windows" and climate-controlled cabins, and lists "Noise-reduction technology", "Dual-pilot configuration available" and "Real-time flight tracking". For bad weather, the Atlantis page says the team monitors conditions and "will notify you in advance if changes are necessary". Beyond the set routes, the About page offers private charters, aerial photography assistance and custom route planning. One Google review shown on the homepage says guests are asked to arrive an hour early, that gimbals are not allowed and that seats cannot be chosen; this is a guest's account, not a stated rule.

Booking, cancellation and support

Bookings come with "Instant Confirmation", and the FAQ says "advance booking is highly recommended". The cancellation policy is published: flights get a full refund "Incase of visibility or weather is bad"; guests must cancel by email or phone at least 48 hours ahead; cancelling between 48 and 24 hours before carries a 50% fee, and within 24 hours a 100% fee.
