What Zoom Tours is and where it operates

Zoom Tours, trading as Niagara Falls Bus Tours (the footer reads "Niagara Falls Bus Tours, Zoom Tours Inc."), is a Toronto tour company that runs its own guided day trips to Niagara Falls with its own driver-guides and vehicles. Its office is at 325 Front St West, Suite #2064, Toronto, and the homepage sums up its area as "Toronto, Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake". The tours go to the Canadian side of the falls, which the site describes as the "Canadian Niagara Falls". It also runs Toronto city tours and private transport and transfers.

The listing sits among helicopter and scenic flights because one of its packages, the Niagara Falls Helicopter Tour on the Canadian Side, adds a helicopter flight to the day trip. Zoom Tours does not describe itself as a helicopter operator, and the site does not name the company that flies that segment.

The Evening Tour with Boat Cruise starts at 1pm EST, runs 10 hours, and shows $179 and $219. The Freedom Day Tour, without the cruise, starts at 8am or 1pm and shows $99 and $149, with the cruise and a Fallsview Buffet Lunch available as options.

Meal versions include the Tour with Cruise & Fallsview Lunch at $189 and $209 and the Evening Tour with Cruise & Dinner at $219 and $260. The Day & Evening Tour with the Niagara Skywheel shows $179 and $199, and the Winter Wonder of Niagara Falls Tour, from 8am or 1pm EST, shows $149 and $199. The Niagara Falls Helicopter Tour on the Canadian Side shows $409 and $480 and adds a helicopter tour to the day.

Private options are the Private Couple/Group Tours, available daily, at $695 and $859, and the Private Express Couple/Group Tours, 5-6 hours without the cruise, at $595 and $715. In Toronto, the Best of Toronto City Tour runs 4-5 hours with CN Tower admission and the Toronto Harbour City Cruise, or a Casa Loma visit from November to April when the boat is closed, and the private Toronto tour shows $695 and $995. How the day works

The FAQ says tours run "with 10 to 22 guests in a luxury mini bus", and that "During peak travel seasons, a larger coach bus may be used". Most Niagara day tours last "approximately 9 to 10 hours". The boat cruise "runs seasonally from May to December", and in winter an alternative such as Niagara Takes Flight may be included. The site says it hires guides "for personality" and gives them "thorough training", and the FAQ refers to "professional licensed guides".

The homepage describes a typical day: the Hornblower cruise first, a Fallsview buffet with a view of Horseshoe Falls for those who booked the meal upgrade, free time, then a drive to Niagara-on-the-Lake past the Floral Clock, the "Smallest Chapel" and the Whirlpool Rapids, with "one hour of free time" in town before the return to Toronto. The site notes that Winston Churchill called that route "one of the prettiest Sunday afternoon drive in the world", and its guide to the falls cites an average of 750,000 gallons of water per second going over them.
