Hola Barcelona is the visitor website of Barcelona's TMB Group, whose name is on the copyright line of every page. It sells the group's own tourist products rather than acting as a marketplace: the Barcelona Bus Turístic, which the homepage calls "the official city tour" and "our hop-on hop-off service"; the Hola Barcelona Travel Card for the city's public transport; the Montjuïc Cable Car; seasonal night and Christmas bus tours; and what it calls "our one-day trips from Barcelona". The night tour page adds that "The Barcelona Bus Turístic is a member of City Sightseeing, the world's leading bus tour operator."

Everything on the site is in and around Barcelona: the city's transport network and sights, plus day trips into Catalonia to Montserrat, Girona and Figueres, the Penedès wine country, Tossa de Mar on the Costa Brava and La Roca Village. Prices are in euros. The site runs in English, Catalan, German, Spanish, French and Italian, and there is an Hola Barcelona app for routes, tickets and travel guides.

Tickets and tours

Each product appears with 2 prices, a higher figure and a lower one, under a "From" label.

• Hop on Hop off Barcelona (the Barcelona Bus Turístic), from €18.00 or €16.20, described as "touring the city's streets on the official sightseeing bus."
• Hola Barcelona Travel Card, from €12.50 or €11.25, for "unlimited travel on the public transport network in Barcelona for 1 day (24 h), 2 days (48 h), 3 days (72 h), 4 days (96 h) or 5 days (120 h)." The homepage adds: "The round-trip metro journey to the airport is included!"
• Montjuïc Cable Car, from €13.00 or €11.70, with "panoramic views of Barcelona from a privileged spot."
• Transport deals, from €25.80 or €24.35, which the site describes as "the best combination of our services for getting around Barcelona."

The Barcelona Night Tour Bus runs "Only during the summer months", past the Sagrada Família, the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site and Casa Batlló. The 2026 season is listed from June 1 to September 13, every day, departing at 21.30 h from plaça de Catalunya (the Red Route stop of the Bus Turístic), for about 1 hr and 30 min. Adults over 13 pay 22.00€, children 4 to 12 pay 10.00€, and under-4s ride free but need a reserved place. Tours run in Spanish, English or, on Fridays only, bilingual Catalan/Spanish.

The Barcelona Christmas Tour takes an open-top bus past the lights on passeig de Gràcia, the Sagrada Família, the Arc de Triomf and Casa Batlló. The listed season ran from 28 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, except December 24, 25 and 31 and January 1, with several departures between 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 pm from plaça de Catalunya (the Blue Route stop), lasting about 1 hr and 20 min. It costs €15.00 for adults and €10.00 for children 4 to 12, and runs in Catalan, Spanish or English. Both seasonal tours currently show "Not available" on the homepage. The night tour page sells the evening ride on atmosphere, saying that "When the sun sets and the heat drops, the city becomes irresistible", with the façades of the modernist buildings lit up.

Day trips from Barcelona include the Easy Montserrat Tour (from €44.00 or €39.60), the Premium Montserrat tour with tickets to the shrine and the abbey "that's home to 'La Moreneta', the patron saint of Catalonia" (from €64.00 or €57.60), the Dalí's Figueras and Girona Tour with the Dalí Theatre-Museum (from €65.00 or €58.50), the Wine and Cava Experience in the Penedès, with tastings "at a 15th-century farmhouse" and cava-making (from €92.80 or €83.52), Costa Brava - Tossa de Mar (from €45.00 or €40.50) and the La Roca Village Shopping Express Tour (€14.00), which the site says reaches "over a hundred and fifty boutiques".

On the bus

The seasonal tour pages are the most detailed. They promise an open-top double-decker, guided commentary and, in the site's words, "the only sightseeing bus with official Barcelona Tourist Board tour guides on board." Both list free Wi-Fi and say the service is "adapted for people with reduced mobility and hearing impairments." The Christmas tour adds free headphones (a jack connector is needed), priority seating on the upper floor in order of boarding, and a warning that seats are not numbered, so large groups may not sit together. Its guides, the page says, also explain Catalan Christmas traditions along the way, with a live commentator "adapted to local clients" in Catalan, Spanish and English.

Tickets are booked online and the voucher is shown to the guide on board, on a phone or printed. Both pages ask passengers to be at the meeting point 20 minutes before departure, and each offers a downloadable route map.

Booking and help

Purchases go through the site's cart, with a payment-methods section on the homepage. The footer links to frequently asked questions, the "General terms and conditions of online contracting", a contact page and an About us page. The app offers exclusive travel guides for 2, 3, 4 and 5 days to buyers. The site also runs a blog on getting around Barcelona by public transport, with recent posts on reaching the La Mercè 2026 concert venues by metro and bus, the museums and historic buildings that open for free on Catalonia's National Day 2026, and the story behind the colors of the metro lines.

What the site leaves open

The homepage and tour pages do not state a cancellation or refund rule; that sits in the general terms. They do not give a duration, route list or frequency for the daytime Bus Turístic, or explain what the higher of the 2 listed prices represents. Details for the day trips, such as departure point, pick-up and group size, are not shown on the day-trip overview.

Who it suits

Hola Barcelona suits visitors who want to buy Barcelona's official sightseeing bus, a transport pass that covers the airport metro, and a cable car ride in one place, from the TMB Group itself. The seasonal night and Christmas tours, with official tourist-board guides and accessibility adaptations, are a distinctive extra.

It suits less well a traveler who wants every term, from cancellation to the day-trip meeting point, laid out before paying.
