A group travel company built around solo travelers
Flash Pack is a London-registered travel company that sells its own small-group adventures for people traveling alone, split by age into groups of 30-49 and 50-65 (the second band carries a "NEW" label in the menu). The homepage calls them "premium small-group adventures with people your age", and the about page says 90% of travelers come solo. The trips are Flash Pack's own itineraries, led by what the company calls Pack Leaders and local guides. Its destination menu spans Asia (Armenia, Bali, Borneo, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, the Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uzbekistan and Vietnam), Africa (Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, Rwanda, South Africa and Tanzania), Antarctica, New Zealand, Europe (from Albania, the Azores and Croatia to Iceland, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Türkiye) and the Americas (from Argentina and Costa Rica to Peru, Mexico and the United States).
The company is registered in the UK under number 12734022, with an address at Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, Fitzrovia, London. Flight-inclusive packages, the footer says, are protected by the ATOL scheme under ATOL number 12040. The about page carries a note from Radha Vyas, CEO, who says she started the company after finding that in her 30s every group trip "felt too young or too old", and wanted "to go solo without feeling alone".
How the trips are sorted
The menu groups trips by age band first, then by type: Bucket-List, Challenging, Chilled, For First-Timers, Short Stays, Wildlife & Safari and Winter. A separate Wellbeing section is branded The Pause. The menu's featured trips are Morocco: Desert Sanctuary, Colombia: Island Recharge, Thailand: Reconnection Retreat and Ecuador: Amazon Immersion. The menu also lists Private Adventures, a "Newest Adventures" list, and deal pages for limited-time offers, last-chance departures and trips with a free room upgrade.
The site's descriptions of the trips lean on examples rather than itineraries. The about page mentions "sailing by yacht to a hidden island in the Philippines (private chef included)" and "glamping in converted Land Rovers on the Serengeti", along with rooftop pools and "off-grid rainforest lodges". What is included, per the same page: boutique hotels, activities, most meals, private transport and 24/7 support before, during and after the trip, "with no surprise extras". Flights are included only on the flight-inclusive packages the ATOL note refers to. The homepage, about page and how-it-works page list no trip lengths or prices; a reader has to open a trip to see its dates and cost.
What the group experience looks like
Flash Pack builds its pitch around the group. The about page lists what it calls its group dynamic: everyone is of a similar age and life stage, a "first-of-its-kind roommate matching process" pairs people who share rooms, groups are capped at 16 travelers, every adventure has "a core bonding activity within the first three days", and travelers chat on WhatsApp before departure. The how-it-works page adds detail. Trip Finder lets travelers filter by dates, destinations and trip style, and includes a personality quiz. At booking a traveler picks the age group for the chosen trip, then chooses to share a room or book a single. The page says 75% of Flashpackers share, and that a roommate is matched through "an in-depth questionnaire"; a private room can be added at any time.
Closer to departure, the Flash Pack app carries itinerary breakdowns, visa requirements and packing lists. Four weeks before the trip, travelers are invited into a WhatsApp group, and the Pack Leader is added before departure. The site describes its guides as "trained to spark instant group chemistry" and trained to make every moment "immersive". It also has a "Safety with Flash Pack" page, but the homepage and how-it-works page do not summarize it, so any question about fitness levels for the Challenging trips, or safety arrangements on a given route, belongs with the trip page or the team.
Booking, payment and the guarantee
The homepage and how-it-works page set out the payment terms. Trips more than 90 days away can be booked instantly with "a small deposit", and the balance can be spread over 3 or 6 monthly installments, or paid in full 90 days before the tour, which the site describes as "interest-free with no hidden fees". The deposit amount itself is not stated on these pages. The Flash Pack Guarantee is summed up in one line: "If something within our control doesn't go to plan, we'll make it right." The full terms and conditions and FAQs sit on separate pages, and the cancellation and refund rules are not set out on the homepage or the how-it-works page.
Help runs through live chat, which the how-it-works page says is staffed 24/7, a WhatsApp contact in the help menu and the option to book a call. A Customer Experience team handles pre-trip questions. Travel agents can sell the trips through a partner program. On reviews, the about page shows a group experience rating of 8.9/10 "based on 5000+ reviews", and says the company has "already sparked over 150,000 friendships". Both are the company's own figures. The homepage quotes traveler comments, including one that reads, "This isn't the cheapest way to travel, but it is the perfect choice for people who don't want to waste their time on a mediocre trip."
What the site leaves open, and who it fits
The about page caps groups at 16 ("No coach-loads here"), but the deposit amount, trip lengths and prices are not given on the homepage, about page or how-it-works page. The cancellation window and refund rules are left to the terms page. The rating is Flash Pack's own figure, and the site does not name who collects the reviews behind it.
Flash Pack fits a solo traveler aged 30 to 65 who wants a group of people at a similar stage of life, a matched roommate if they choose to share, and a trip with hotels, most meals and transport arranged. The age bands are the whole point of the group trips, so travelers outside them will find no band for their age in the menu; Private Adventures sit in a separate section, and the site does not say whether they carry the same age limits. For anyone who wants a social trip with the planning already done, it is a clearly targeted option with its booking steps well explained.
