Ready-made, customized, private and luxury

The site groups its products into 4 streams. Ready Made Packages are "pre-made trips, built by Tourist Journey travel experts", browsed by country or country combination. Customized Packages start from those: "You can choose your hotel, add extra nights, or add airport transfers to any of our listed tour packages with our online package customization tool", and for anything more the site says to choose a package, click "customize" and describe the change. A Create a Custom Trip option covers requests from scratch; the example the site gives is an Italy trip "from the north to the south" for anyone "From couples to families to large groups".

Private Travel means "multi-day packages exclusively for you", with "world-class accommodations, private guides" and transfers. The private page states that "all our pre-planned multi-day tour packages can be transformed into private experiences" and that they can be booked online, and it lists "Transparent and competitive pricing" and "Tried-and-tested itineraries" among the reasons to do so. Custom private packages are pitched as "Ideal for groups of all sizes and types", with planning that includes "transport, luxury accommodations, expert guides, and all essential services".

Luxury & VIP is the top tier. The luxury page describes packages "combining the finest accommodations, exclusive activities" and travel arrangements, with private cooking classes "led by celebrated chefs" and wine tastings at "prestigious vineyards" given as examples. It says the company serves "high-profile business leaders to diplomats, celebrities, and high-net-worth individuals" with "Absolute confidentiality", and claims "Over a decade of expertise in curating bespoke, high-end global travel experiences". The site's Travel Resources section adds free guides and sample itineraries such as "11 Days in Japan Itinerary", "A Week in Greece" and "2 Days in Ho Chi Minh City Itinerary".

On the ground

The homepage lists service promises under "Why Travel With Us?": "All guides have a government license (of course)", "All vehicles are safe, modern and air conditioned (except for camels, where ridden)", a booking and customer service team "available 7 days a week", and "24/7 support for emergencies". The private page adds "expert travel advisors, licensed guides, and experienced drivers". Those are the company's own claims, and the site does not name the local companies or guides that deliver each package.

On how local partners are picked, the about page says "Our local teams are chosen specifically for their high quality of service, environmental consciousness, and cooperation with local communities", and that "our local experts chose" each tour, hotel or airport car. It gives no further detail on how that choice is made.

The site does not say which languages guides speak, where tours meet, what fitness level a package assumes or how children are handled. Group size on the standard packages is not given either; the private and luxury pages say only "Whatever your group size". The homepage claims the company "received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence every year (since we can remember)" without naming years, and lists Forbes and Travel & Leisure under "As Seen In", each with a short quote.

Booking, payment and cancellation

On terms, the homepage promises "Fully Flexible and Easy Cancellation" and "The Best Price Guaranteed", and the footer links separate Terms & Conditions and Cancellation policy pages. The homepage promises themselves do not say how many days before departure a trip can be cancelled, what deposit is taken or what the price guarantee requires, so those rules have to be read on the linked pages before paying.

What is left open

Prices are not shown on the homepage, the about page or the private and luxury pages, so comparing Tourist Journey with another company means opening each package. The site does not name hotels or grade them beyond "world-class" and "luxury", and it does not break down meals or entrance fees for the package streams in general. The difference between a standard package and its private version, in price or in who else is in the vehicle, is not spelled out on the private travel page.

Tourist Journey suits travelers who want a planned multi-day trip in one of its listed countries with hotels, guides and transfers handled, and who like the option of adjusting hotels or nights online before paying. Its combinations such as Israel, Egypt and Jordan, or China, South Korea and Japan, are a practical starting point for a multi-country trip. It is a weaker fit for anyone going somewhere outside its menu, or who wants to know the exact local operator, the group size and the cancellation window before opening a single package page.
