Wilderness Ireland runs its own small-group, private and self-guided adventure holidays across Ireland. The homepage says it offers "small group, self guided and private adventure tours across Ireland's most stunning destinations from the Causeway Coast along the Wild Atlantic Way to Dublin and Ireland's Ancient East," and that it has been "Operating adventure tours since 2014." Its office is at Cleavry, Castlebaldwin, Co Sligo, and the footer reads "Registered in Scotland SC211011."

The company says it "was created by the same team behind the award-winning adventure travel company, Wilderness Scotland, founded in 2001." Some trips in its menus are run by that sister company: a pop-up notes "This trip is operated by our Scotland team," and walking and cycling tours in England are sold through Wilderness England. The Irish regions it lists are the North West (Donegal and Sligo), the West (Connemara, the Burren, Mayo and the Aran Islands), the South West (Cork and Kerry), Northern Ireland (Belfast and the Giant's Causeway), the South East (Wexford, Waterford and Kilkenny) and the East (Dublin and Wicklow). The Multi-Location page describes trips "that explore multiple regions of Ireland, spending a few days immersed in each place along the way," on foot, by bike or by car. Tour dates are listed by month from October 2026 to September 2027.

Guides and how trips run

The homepage says guides "are on the frontline for an average of 100 days each year" and that "Many of our senior guides have 20+ years of experience working in the outdoors."
